Tai Chi has many benefits for all ages. Adding tai chi into your healthy aging routine improves memory and reduces the risk of falls through gentle mindful movements, situation awareness, weight transference, and posture training.
Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention is an evidence-based program that was developed by Dr. Paul Lam and uses the Sun style of tai chi. All classes are led by our founder, Kristina Wolfe, who is a licensed physical therapist and has been certified by the tai chi for health institute. She will use her training in Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention as a base for her classes. In terms of physical exertion level, the tai chi exercise in this program would be similar to walking.

Our outdoor membership plan (during the spring and fall) builds our tai chi community by providing opportunities to practice in person with the instructor and classmates multiple times throughout the week.
